As Yu-Shan's vision makes clear, meaningful communication and cooperation with Indigenous communities worldwide is a vital step in deepening theological reflection and establishing a grounded theology. To pursue this calling, Yu-Shan has established the Research and Promotion Centre. Through this center, we invite Indigenous scholars and activists to share their lived struggles and wisdom, organize international forums to foster dialogue among Indigenous communities, and build partnerships with other Indigenous schools and institutions through faculty and student exchange programs. In this way, we not only share the experiences of Taiwan’s Indigenous peoples with the wider world but also learn richly from the voices and perspectives of our global visitors.
Executive Structure of the Asia-Pacific Indigenous Community Theology and Mission Research and Promotion Center:
1. Director – Appointed by the President of Yu-Shan Theological College and Seminary. The Director’s responsibilities include inviting lecturers, organising international forums, and exploring opportunities for exchange programmes with other Indigenous communities.
2. Executive Assistant – Responsible for supporting all administrative and executive procedures related to the Centre’s activities.
